The 40th annual Winterfest offers a little something for everyone. Follow the Baraboo Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department’s Facebook page for changes to the schedule or additional events added. Volunteers, sponsors, and donations for all events are always welcome and appreciated.

Annual Winterfest 5K Fun Run/Walk. Runners will be divided into different age groups, and there will be awards for the top finishers in the age groups. T-shirts to all pre-registered runners. Proceeds go to future Civic Center program improvements.
Date: Saturday, January 31, 2026
Time: Race starts at 10:00am
Runners should meet at the Baraboo Civic Center to check-in
Early registration fee: $10 until 1/9/26
Late registration fee: $20 1/10/26-1/31/26
Event T-shirt: $20

Online registration only available until Friday, January 30, 2026, at noon. Any registrations after that time must be done in Room 12/14 at the Civic Center the morning of the 5K.

*We will try to provide everyone with their requested shirt size. However, we cannot guarantee that those that register after 1/15/26 will be able to receive their requested shirt size.
