Winterfest 2026
The 40th annual Winterfest offers a little something for everyone. Follow the Baraboo Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department’s Facebook page for changes to the schedule or additional events added. Volunteers, sponsors, and donations for all events are always welcome and appreciated.

Winterfest Frost & Found: A Winter Makers Market is a celebration of local creativity, entrepreneurship, and community spirit. As part of Winterfest, we’ll feature a map of participating brick-and-mortar businesses that will be open to showcase their products and services. Local businesses can sign up to be included at no cost.

For home-based businesses, entrepreneurs, or independent creators, space will be available at the Baraboo Civic Center to display information and connect with the community.

All donations collected during the event will support the Baraboo Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department’s recreation programs, helping us continue to grow opportunities for our community.

City of Baraboo Residents: Free (Civic Center Set-up or Map)
Non-Residents: $10 (Civic Center Set-up only)

By registering for Winterfest Frost & Found: A Winter Makers Market, the business/creator affirms that they have obtained and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals required to legally operate their business. All registrations are subject to review, and participation is not guaranteed until approved by Baraboo Parks, Recreation, & Forestry staff. Additional information may be requested prior to the event.
