Whether you’re a seasoned armchair quarterback or just miss the classic days of hitting stick and running up the score with your favorite early-2000s superstars, this tournament is all about nostalgia, friendly competition, and Winterfest fun.
Players will battle it out in fast-paced matchups to see who can take home bragging rights as our Winterfest Madden Champion. No modern graphics, no updates, no online glitches—just pure, old-school football.

Note:
The 40th annual Winterfest offers a little something for everyone. Follow the Baraboo Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department’s Facebook page for changes to the schedule or additional events added. Volunteers, sponsors, and donations for all events are always welcome and appreciated.

Rosters: All games will use the default rosters from Madden NFL 2005 (PS2).
Difficulty: Games will be set to All-Pro. Depending on the number of participants, we may run multiple skill and/or age brackets to keep matches fair and competitive.
Quarter Length: Determined by the number of players registered to ensure the tournament runs smoothly and on schedule.
